Carousel horse balloons? Check! Aerial hoop champagne pours? Check! All the fun games and entertainment you could ever want in a wedding spectacular? Check, check check! We wish we could have been there to witness this wondrous wedding at The Georgetown Ballroom, the perfect circus-themed celebration put together by the couple themselves, who own and operate Siren & The Treasure Chest, an entertainment company featuring burlesque, drag and a variety of other compelling acts.
For their special day, Shana and Rodney wowed their loved ones by pulling off a wedding that was equally as captivating as one of their shows. A friend's list that includes a stilt walker, an aerialist and a belly and snake dancer certainly helps when planning a fête of this scale. Lucky for us, Unified Cinematic Wedding Videography was on hand to capture this magnificent wedding. We can't picture a single dull moment! From Unified Cinematic Wedding Videography: Shana and Rodney run Siren & The Treasured Chests and chose to have a fun wedding that would include their friends by showing off what they do best. Working with this couple, I could tell right away that filming this wedding would be both challenging and fun. We were inspired by the look of old silent movies and circus sideshow performances. This video is a great example of how film can take you back to the moment much more quickly and directly than a photograph. There's some things you simply can't do with a still image and a video is a great way to share those experiences.
